Nonprofit Zaman International Hosts ‘Celebrating Our Heroes’ Event
On Feb. 16, Zaman International, a nonprofit organization in Inkster dedicated to helping empower marginalized women and children to break the cycle of extreme poverty, held its VIP (Very Important Philanthropy) event at the Dearborn Inn. Zaman provides families with crisis assistance, vocational training, life skills programs, the Good Deeds retail store, and a food pantry with support from the Gleaners Community Food Bank. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
