Nicole Tamer’s “Watching the Light” Exhibition Opening

“Watching the Light,” an art exhibition curated by Nicole Tamer Art Gallery, opened July 22 and drew more than 150 people to the David Whitney Building in downtown Detroit. The exhibition features works from Andrew Blake, Brian Pollock, Les Loups, Mattie Armstrong, Lance V. Wiselogle, and Inga West. All artists displayed in the exhibition have called Detroit home at one point in their lives. This show in particular will donate profits from select paintings to benefit flood victims, veterans issues, animal conservation, children’s vision loss research, and people re-entering society. // Photographs by Lindsay Schweickert
