The Nicole Cooper Memorial Scholarship was founded by Mike Cooper at U of D Jesuit High School in memory of his wife Nicole, who passed away from leukemia a decade ago. Cooper says his wife was passionate about education, saying it would be their responsibility to help a niece, nephew, or other child who needs assistance with paying for private high school or college. When the scholarship reaches $250,000, it will be recognized as fully endowed, meaning one student every four years would receive the Nicole Cooper Memorial Scholarship for aid throughout his entire time at the school.
