The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Metro is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit grassroots organization in Northville serving all residents in Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb counties. The all-volunteer group is dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with serious mental illness and their families through advocacy, support, and education. NAMI Metro also promotes research aimed at improving life for all those diagnosed and living with a mental illness. IN addition, NAMI Metro works to erase the stigma that is associated with mental illness.
