Michigan Shines for Autism Gala 2022

The Autism Alliance of Michigan, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Southfield, hosted its annual Michigan Shines for Autism Gala on Sat., April 23, at the MotorCity Casino and Hotel in Detroit. The event raised funds for the organization’s mission to lead efforts to raise expectations and expand opportunities for people touched by autism in their life. This year’s gala honored Dave Meador for his contributions to the organization and celebrating his recent retirement from DTE Energy as vice-chairman. Other special guests included Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Michigan Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, and Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich).
