Mend on the Move in Plymouth Township is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social enterprise serving metro Detroit. The group helps survivors of abuse by creating and selling jewelry from salvaged auto parts and car seat leather. Each handcrafted piece sold supports women survivors, and helps reduce three tons of auto waste landfilled annually. The organization has supported more than 60 women since its inception.
