Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in St. Clair Shores that provides wigs to children and young adults ages 3 to 18 experiencing hair loss due to cancer, alopecia, trichotillomania, burns, and other disorders at no charge. Each wig provided is custom-fitted, age-appropriate, and cut and styled to the child or young adults specifications to help them feel comfortable and confident. Founded in 2003 by Maggie Varney, the organization has provided more than 4,800 wigs and services in the state since.
