The Grandmont Rosedale Development Corp. (GRDC) is a nonprofit, community-based organization founded in 1989 with the mission is to preserve and improve the Grandmont Rosedale neighborhoods of Detroit. It organizes community improvement programs designed to help the community prosper. Among its projects are the Northwest Detroit Farmer’s Market, the Grand River Workplace, a Home Renovation Program, and a Community Security Initiative. Other activities revolve around commercial revitalization, neighborhood beautification, vacant property maintenance, and code enforcement.
