The mission of Southfield’s GiGi’s Playhouse is to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a global message of acceptance. The group provides free therapeutic, educational, and vocational programs for individuals with Down syndrome of all ages. GiGi’s Playhouse serves more than 200 families who are living in and around the metro Detroit area.The organization is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization and is solely funded by donations.
