German American Chamber Celebrates Unity Day 2019

On Oct. 1, the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, Michigan Chapter celebrated Unity Day 2019 at Atwater in the Park in Grosse Pointe Park. The event, which marked the 30th anniversary of the removal of the wall that separated East and West Berlin and brought about German reunification, was hosted by Honorary Consul Michigan Andrew Bemish with remarks by Consul General Wolfgang Moessinger. // Photographs by Christine M.J.
