Galleri 2987 Celebration of Detroit

On Oct. 18, Galleri 2987 at The Dockland next to Stroh River Place hosted a celebratory evening of Detroit art, history, and culture. Guests enjoyed cuisine by Celebrity Catering, Breaking Bread Catering, Wright & Co., and Bookies Bar and Grille, an art show featuring the work of Swedish artist T.H. Muller that raised money for Beyond Basics, tours of residential lofts, and a book signing for R.J. King’s new book, “Detroit: Engine of America.” // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
