Friends of Detroit Rowing Oarsmen’s Ball 2025
The Friends of Detroit Rowing (FODR) revived its Oarsmen’s Ball at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle on Saturday, Feb. 1. Guests at the black-tie optional event were able to explore museum exhibits, sample hors d’oeuvres, listen to jazz music, and bid on silent auction items. Funds raised will go toward FODR’s Share an Oar, Share the Shore Campaign to build a new “shellhouse” that will help increase public access to the Detroit River and the sport of rowing.
