Focus: HOPE is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Detroit that has the stated goal of building a metropolitan community where all people can live in freedom and harmony by helping them overcome racism, poverty, and injustice. The organization, founded following Detroit’s 1967 riots by Fr. William T. Cunningham and Eleanor M.
