Enchanted Makeovers is a nonprofit based in Taylor with a vision to bring women and children in shelters dignity and inspire donors and volunteers to dream while they’re awake, heal their hearts, and to find their voices. The organization transforms long-term shelters for women and children into places of peace and possibility. It does this through six core programs: Shelter Transformations, Doll Adoption, Sacred Sewing Rooms, Traveling Pillowcase, Capes for Kids, and Patch Project. The hoped-for end result is a path toward creativity, self-expression, and worth.
