Emanuel Steward Street Naming Celebration
On Sunday, Aug. 18, the family of the late Emanuel Steward, the most successful trainer in boxing history with 41 world championship fighters, held a street-naming ceremony and celebration at E. Jefferson and St. Aubin on Detroit’s east side. Steward owned a steakhouse, called Emanuel Steward’s Place, at Jefferson and St. Aubin.
