DSMA Charity Golf Scramble 2022

The Detroit Sports Media Association (DSMA) hosted its annual Charity Golf Scramble on Monday, July 11, at the Cherry Creek Golf Club in Shelby Township. The event featured 18 holes of golf, food, gifts, raffles, prizes, and more. Founded in 1955, the DSMA Charity Fund was originally a scholarship program designed to help one individual reach higher education opportunities. Since then, the DSMA has generated more than $500,000 in gross revenue for scholarships, broadcasting program grants for high schools, and causes like the Michigan Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame, Gleaners Food Bank, Detroit Lions Academy, and more. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
