As part of its global citizenship initiatives, the Midland-based Dow Co. Foundation works to advance sustainable solutions, build inclusive communities, and develop the future STEM talent pipeline. Its initiatives support efforts to drive progress to a more circular economy, discover and deliver new ways of using Dow products and processes for social good, partner with local organizations to create inclusive places to live and work, and volunteer with and support youth involvement in STEM organizations. The foundation makes charitable investments — it gives more than $30 million in grants annually and $1.5 million in gift-in-kind donations — offers its employees volunteer opportunities, and partners with organizations locally and around the world.
