As a prelude to the 2011 Detroit Jazz Festival over Labor Day weekend in downtown Detroit, more than 200 people set sail on the Ovation Yacht for a cruise on the Detroit River. The June 15 Latin Jazz cruise was hosted by Mayor Dave Bing, Gretchen Valade, and the Detroit Jazz Festival Board of Trustees.
