The Detroit Auto Dealers Association Charitable Foundation Fund was established in 1998 by DADA, which is a membership organization based in Troy that represents automotive dealers and dealerships in metro Detroit. The fund supports nonprofit organizations in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, St. Clair, and Livingston counties, with a specific focus on children and youth. The millions of dollars garnered from the North American International Auto Show Charity Preview each year go to the fund, and DADA hosts the show. It will also host Motor Bella the M1 Concourse in Pontiac for the first time this year (Sept. 21-26). Grants from the fund are awarded annually and typically fall between $10,000 and $50,000. Beyond this fund, DADA offers an Education Foundation, which supports learning in metro Detroit through grants and programming.
