Established in 2013 as the philanthropic arm of Northville’s Cooper Standard, the foundation has a mission to enhance the communities where employees work and live by supporting children’s charities and education, health and wellness, and community revitalization initiatives. In addition to matching employee contributions, the foundation makes direct donations and grants to charitable organizations, provides scholarships to children of employees, and offers global crisis funding. Scholarships are awarded based on GPA, leadership, and community involvement. The foundation works with more than 100 partners across the globe, including the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Focus: HOPE, United Way, and Forgotten Harvest.
