City Pickle, founded in 2022 in Birmingham, strives to improve outcomes for education, health, self-confidence, and well-being of all who are touched by the sport of pickleball. City Pickle has trained more than 2,000 children (ages 5-17) across 10 locations, providing both summer and after-school programs. The organization focuses on personal growth by teaching values such as perseverance and healthy competition. City Pickle is dedicated to expanding these programs to foster community spirit and encourage healthy lifestyles in underserved neighborhoods.
