The Charles W. Reid Community Help Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Detroit that is committed to helping those in the community who have been impacted by violence and poverty. The organization’s vision is to offer resources to provide hope and stability throughout Detroit. It has served hundreds of families in the community with food, clothing, and help with grief and trauma through groups and workshops. The Reid Center also assists to mitigate gun violence with tools and strategies that allow families to become more stable, while inspiring hope.
