The Center for Arab American Philanthropy in Dearborn is a national community foundation that works to unite and strengthen the collective power of Arab American giving. The center makes grants to nonprofits and provides tools and resources to donors. It also educates Arab Americans and works to shape perceptions about Arab Americans by highlighting their generous heritage and contributions to society. The organization is an ACCESS institution. ACCESS is based in Dearborn and is the largest nonprofit in the country dedicated to providing human services and initiatives to amplify the visibility and agency of Arab Americans. It houses more than 135 funds with a variety of purposes and has granted more than $9 million to causes around the world since 2010.
