Celebrate Michigan’s Military 2023

Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs hosted its Celebrate Michigan’s Military fundraiser on June 6 at the Grosse Pointe Memorial’s Fred M. Alger Center in Grosse Pointe Farms. Money raised at the event goes to Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs for the training and pairing of medical service dogs with Michigan veterans. The cost to train each dog is more than $25,000. The ninth annual Celebrate Michigan Military event featured a dinner, beverages, a meet and greet with Guardian Angels Service Dog teams, and a special keynote address by retired U.S. Army Brig. Gen.
