Care House of Oakland County Circle of Friends Luncheon

The Care House of Oakland County in Pontiac hosted its Circle of Friends luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Townsend Hotel in downtown Birmingham. The featured guest was Margaret Hoelzer, an Olympian and child advocate. Money raised at the event goes to Care House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency that provides services to victims of child abuse and neglect. Founded in 1977 as the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of Oakland County, the group currently offers an array of programs focused on the identification and treatment of child abuse victims, and on child abuse prevention. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
