Buildup STEAM in Birmingham is a 501(c)(3) robotics studio designed to promote hands-on play and STEAM education for children who are hospitalized. It also strives to inspire creative and positive thinking by building an environment of encouragement and healing while reducing anxiety and stress. The organization develops customized programs for students of different skill levels, and operates in hospitals in unison with the staff and infection prevention professionals.
