Brother Rice High School Student Center Grand Opening
Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Township hosted a grand opening celebration for its new Student Center on Thursday, Sept. 16. The center features four distinct institutes, which will serve as an interconnected hub for cross-disciplinary learning. Three alumni donors made the transformation possible with the Tim Manganello Institute for Leadership, the Tommy Woycik Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Michael Neus Institute for Character and Citizenship. The fourth institute, named after the school’s first valedictorian, is called the John McGuckin Jr. Institute for Academic Success. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
