The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Birmingham that seeks to connect people of all ages and abilities with visual arts education, exhibitions, and other creative experiences. The group offers classes, free exhibits, workshops, camps, and events to the public. Scholarships also are available for both youth and adult classes. The group estimates it has impacted more than 6,000 people in southeast Michigan through opportunities in drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry and metalsmithing, printmaking, ceramics, and fiber arts. It also has a retail space that is open year-round and facilitates relationships with local artists.
