The Amerisure Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the insurance company Amerisure in Farmington Hills. The foundation looks to support communities the company operates in. The foundation sponsors community outreach events to bring employees into communities and provide support. There is also the charitable giving section of the foundation, which makes contributions to charities and supports nonprofit organizations. One recipient of the foundation’s support is the Special Olympics Michigan. The organization has received more than $400,000 from the foundation, and Amerisure employees have volunteered with the athletes involved in the organization.
