Albert Kahn: Creating the Modern World

The Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation hosted “Albert Kahn: Creating the Modern World” at the Fisher Building in Detroit on Sept. 9 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Albert Kahn Associates. More than 150 people attended and raised $1,600 for the foundation to preserve, maintain, display, and make available to the public materials related to the life and work of Kahn. The famed architect designed numerous buildings in Detroit, throughout Michigan, and the world, including the Packard Plant, the Detroit Athletic Club, and the Fisher Building. Sponsors included Kercheval Financial Advisors, Detroit Month of Design, Albert Kahn Associates, and The Platform. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
