30th Anniversary Benefit on the Bay VIP Night

The 30th Anniversary Benefit on the Bay VIP Night fundraiser for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen took place at the Hook Restaurant in St. Clair Shores on Thursday, Aug. 24. The event was hosted by Fox 2’s Chef Bobby Nahra and attendees were able to enjoy Celani wines and desserts from the Capuchin-operated On The Rise Bakery Café. The Capuchin Soup Kitchen operates two meal program sites that are open to all and free of charge that serve full-course meals to men, women, and children every day. The Capuchins also host substance use disorder support and treatment groups, operate an urban farm, and support the Rosa Parks Children & Youth Program that seeks to educate the minds of young people, stimulate their creativity, and explore with them alternatives to violence. // Photographs by Patrick Gloria
