20th Annual APACC East-West Business Connection

The Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce conducted its 20th annual East-West Business Connection conference on Thursday, March 9. Attendees of the global supplier diversity matchmaking event at Walsh College in Troy comprised Asian and U.S. businesses, minority business enterprises, OEMs, and many others. The event featured a supplier exhibition, networking, a “meet the buyer” showcase, and presentations over lunch. Tamara Hicks, supplier engagement and diversity leader at General Motors Co.; Bruno Olvera, head of North America supplier diversity development for Stellantis; and Travis Spencer, head of supplier diversity and inclusion for Ford Motor Co., spoke at the event.
