2024 Michigan Shines for Autism Gala

The Autism Alliance of Michigan (AAM) hosted the 2024 Michigan Shines for Autism Gala Presented by the DTE Foundation on April 20. The event took place at MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit. Guests listened to live music and participated in a silent auction before moving into the Sound Board for dinner, an on-stage program, a live auction, and a paddle raise. AAM is leading a movement to increase equity and inclusion in health care, education, employment, housing, and social acceptance. One in 36 Americans are on the autism spectrum and one in five have a disability. The goal is to make Michigan the best state in the U.S. for autism. // Photos by Patrick Gloria
