2024 Italian Design Day

The Consulate of Italy in Detroit celebrated Italian Design Day 2024 on March 14 at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield. The event featured a session with Sara Codarin, a professor at the LTU College of Architecture and Design, who discussed the intersection of artificial intelligence and robotics for the architecture and design community in Detroit. She also discussed her “Rome-ing Around” project, where students experience an immersive journey in Rome focused on its historical and architectural significance and creating AI vignettes of a Rome that doesn’t (yet) exist.
