2023 MOCAD Summer Arts Soiree

The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) put on what is hoped to be the first of many annual Summer Arts Soirees on July 13. The event took place at the Charles T. Fisher Mansion in Detroit, and was hosted by Hill Harper, star of the ABC television series “The Good Doctor” and Detroit chef Kate Williams. Money raised by the event will go toward MOCAD’s exhibitions and programs that are meant to explore contemporary art while connecting Detroit with the global art world. Guests included Jova Lynne, artistic director for MOCAD; Marie Madison-Patton, COO for MOCAD; Damien Hooper-Campbell; Robert and Annabelle DiPilla; Mike Han; Elizabeth Haynes; Kevin Heard; Don Manvel; Allan and Joy Nachman; Michael Rosner; Tylonn Sawyer; Carla Walker-Miller; Nate Wallace; Rodger “Rod” Wasserman; Larry and Andi Wolfe; and Carol Ziecik.
