Panel and Pitch Competition, Sponsored by Dell for Startups & StartupNation

Join Dell for Startups for a Detroit pitch competition Sept. 28, sponsored by StartupNation and DBusiness.
Eight Michigan startups will be chosen to take part in Dell’s national competition. First-round winners receive $15,000 and $10,000 in Dell products. The two first-round winners will be able to move on to the next round in Dell’s national pitch competition for a chance to win another $40K in prizes.

The competition is part of a day of networking and learning:
Program:
10 a.m. Meet and greet. Vendors, including Dell Financial Services and Targus, open.
11 a.m. Introductions. The Dell rally truck, which gives entrepreneurs the chance to interact with the latest technology, opens.
11:15 a.m. Panel presentation on small business funding with Q&A.
12:30 p.m. Break.
1-3 p.m. Pitch event. The first- and second-place winners will be announced.
3:30-5 p.m. Networking.
