One of the best of metro Detroit restaurants dedicated to Asian food, it offers some rare delicacies – shark’s fin and bird’s nest soups, fresh abalone – as well as more prosaic items. One signature is stir-fried yellow grouper fillet with vegetables that’s slightly sweet from the perfectly finished fish itself, and spicy with XO sauce. There are more than 120 items, including mahogany glazed barbecued spareribs that slow-roast beside Peking duck; mildly spicy stir-fried beef tenderloin with chunks of red and green bell pepper and litchi nuts; and fork-tender octopus, scallops, and prawns with macadamia nuts.
