ZZ Market and Grill, which will offer made-from-scratch, grab-and-go meals in downtown Detroit, opens on Wednesday at 210 Henry St. (northeast corner of Henry and Cass Avenue). The brick-and-stone structure is located near Harry’s Bar, Little Caesars Arena, and the theater district.
Menu items include a Maurice salad, a Southwest Cobb salad, Wigley’s corned beef, a Chicken Philly, pizzas, ribs, chicken, and soups as well as vegetarian, vegan, and organic options.
The market will offer a selection of Michigan-based beverages from Bell’s, Founders, Valentine Distilling Co., and more.
“We are excited to bring ZZ Market and Grill to Detroit,” says Dominic Hanna, co-owner of the restaurant and market. “Our location is perfect for visitors to the city as well as those who live and work here. They can enjoy a freshly prepared meal and carryout food without any hassle. The ZZ experience is quick and simple from parking to check out.”
ZZ Market and Grill is open from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. Extended hours will vary based on area events. The grand opening will take place tomorrow from noon-7 p.m.
