With Sevenfold Growth, Danlaw Consolidates in Novi

Danlaw Inc., a multifaceted software and engineering firm, officially opens its new headquarters in Novi today. The move was driven by an increase in business activity in Danlaw’s Telematics, Engineering Services, and ECU business units.

“Our growth and job creation has continued to progress at a rapid pace,” says Thomas Rzeznik, president and COO of Danlaw.  Since 2011, Danlaw has more than doubled its number of employees, adding 72 new full-time positions, 62 of which are in southeast Michigan. “For the past five years, we’ve seen sevenfold growth,” Rzeznik says.

The facility will allow the company — which engineers, manufacturers, and tests software, electronics, and vehicle network communications in vehicles around the world — to consolidate its offices into one location. Previously, Danlaw’s rapid expansion and limited space in its Farmington Hills office led the company to set up satellite engineering centers for its employees, which diminished the firm’s overall efficiency.

“It definitely helps having all of our engineering and administrative staff together under one roof again, and with over 20,000 square feet we have room to grow,” Rzeznik says.
