The Village of Rochester Hills will be opening two new restaurants this summer and an eyewear store this fall.

The new restaurants, Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs and Pokeworks, are expected to open in August.

Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs blends authentic Korean and American flavors in its made-to-order Korean corn dogs.

Since its establishment in 2019, Two Hands Fresh Corn Dogs has grown to operate more than 73 stores in 14 states. The brand introduces the genuine taste of Korea to communities nationwide while celebrating the seamless integration of Eastern and Western culinary traditions.

With a diverse and customizable menu, customers can curate their own corn dog experience by choosing from seven distinct corndog options, including vegetarian and plant-based options, allowing them to select both the coating and filling that best suit their individual taste preferences.

From the Classic Korean take on a corn dog, to the traditional American beef option, customers can select from a variety of toppings, sauces, and flavors. Two Hands also will offer bubble tea, kimchi fries, and other signature items.

Pokeworks, founded in 2015, offers a staple of Hawaiian cuisine. The brand’s Poke Your Way approach allows guests to customize their poke orders to match their specific dietary preferences, including vegan, gluten-free, and other mindful diets.

Open for lunch and dinner, Pokeworks will offer a number of poke bowl and burrito entrée options featuring fresh sashimi grade Ahi Tuna, hand-cut Salmon, all-natural Chicken, and organic Tofu. Pokeworks’ offers proprietary sauces, ranging from sweet and spicy to savory.

The brand states it promotes a healthy lifestyle and sources the freshest, highest quality ingredients from sustainable food sources.

Pokeworks was named the “Top Poke Franchise” by Startups magazine in 2022, and has more than 70 locations across the United States, Taiwan, and Canada.

Eyewear retailer Warby Parker, expected to open in the fall, was founded in 2010. Headquartered in New York City, the co-founder-led lifestyle brand offers designer-quality prescription glasses (starting at $95) and contacts, to eye exams and vision tests available online and in more than 250 retail stores across the U.S. and Canada.

Ultimately, the brand believes in “the vision for all,” which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses sold, it distributes a pair to someone in need through the Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. To date, Warby Parker has worked alongside its nonprofit partners to distribute more than 15 million glasses to people in need.

In addition to adding new tenants, Robert B. Aikens and Associates, owners of The Village of Rochester Hills, is relocating and expanding several current stores, and growing its culinary selections with several new dining establishments within the shopping center.

Earlier this year, Aikens opened The Jackson Restaurant, and in October will be opening a Starbucks.

The Village of Rochester Hills officials say the mall will be expanding its current lululemon store in time for the holidays. While renovations are underway at its current space, lululemon will move into a temporary location in mid-July next to Williams Sonoma.

The newly expanded store, scheduled to open for the holiday season, will offer a 5,760-square-foot footprint to showcase men’s and women’s performance apparel that includes activewear, loungewear, and footwear.
