Vesco Clean Energy in Southfield and EV Connect Inc. in California have formed a strategic alliance to expand and enhance electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Michigan and the greater Midwest.
The goal of the alliance is to deliver a network of EV chargers catering to businesses, automotive dealerships, and communities.
Through the collaboration, VCE will install and manage EV chargers, powered by EV Connect’s software, under its Vesconnect brand.
Customers will interact with a Vesconnect-branded management dashboard, while other drivers will continue using the EV Connect app to access charging stations. For site hosts, the maintenance and service experience will be simplified, allowing them to manage multiple fueling types through one comprehensive system.
“At Vesco Clean Energy, we’re focused on solving driver challenges that stand in the way of EV adoption, and charger reliability is at the top of that list,” says Lilly Epstein Stotland, president and CEO of Vesco Clean Energy.
“By partnering with EV Connect, we’re able to offer a user-friendly, future-ready charging network that meets the needs of site hosts and drivers alike, while helping our region build the confidence and infrastructure needed to support long-term EV growth.”
In addition to deploying new chargers, VCE will rebrand existing EV Connect stations throughout Michigan under VCE’s Vesconnect network. Outdated or underperforming chargers will be upgraded to enhance reliability, uptime, efficiency, and accessibility across the network.
“As EV adoption accelerates, businesses need scalable solutions that deliver performance and value,” says Bassem Ammouri, COO at EV Connect. “By leveraging the EV Connect platform, VCE empowers its partners to confidently expand their charging networks, ensuring reliable uptime, an enhanced customer experience, and long-term revenue potential.”
The collaboration also aligns with broader efforts to secure utility funding and government incentives to support EV charging infrastructure. With more than 300 chargers already deployed across Michigan using EV Connect software, the expanded network will significantly improve access to charging solutions.
