Visteon Corp., a Van Buren Township-based Tier 1 automotive supplier, has acquired AllGo Embedded Systems Pvt. Ltd., an India-based automotive supplier of embedded multimedia and smartphone connectivity software. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction includes AllGo’s technology assets, automotive business, and approximately 140 employees, including software engineers based in India who are supported by sales offices in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

“AllGo brings industry-leading multimedia playback and smartphone connectivity software expertise on Linux, QNX, and Android-based operating systems, which will greatly strengthen Visteon’s capabilities in developing next-generation infotainment systems,” says Sachin Lawande, president and CEO of Visteon.
