Clinton Township-based Tweddle Group has partnered with FCA US LLC to debut a touchscreen owner’s manual to be a standard feature for the 2016 Dodge Charger, Challenger, and Chrysler 300.

“The Vehicle User Guide enhances the owner experience by providing access to vehicle information right from the Uconnect Touchscreen,” says Joni Christensen, head of Uconnect marketing for the Auburn Hills-based automaker. “Whether it be a question about the radio or warranty information, all the answers are right at your fingertips.”

The vehicles come equipped with 8.4-inch touchscreens in the dashboard with information specific to the vehicle. Christensen says the content will be kept up to date through over-the-air updates.

“Vehicle User Guide takes the major technological trends of the last 20 years and ties them together to create a product that’s exciting and profoundly practical,” says Paul Wilbur, CEO of Tweddle.

Wilbur says Tweddle has also created a mobile app for vehicle owner’s information. The company, which has worked with BMW, Ford, Nissan, and Toyota, has 650 employees in locations such as Belgium, Italy, and China.

The 2016 Dodge Charger and Challenger are expected to retail for $27,000, while the Chrysler 300 is expected to retail for about $32,000. The vehicles will be available beginning at the end of the year.
