The Kais-Air division of Gallagher-Kaiser Corp. (GK), an industrial equipment supplier in Troy, has received the exclusive license to manufacture, design, and sell U.K.-based BladeRoom Group Ltd. (BRG) products in North America.

This partnership came shortly after the Kais-Air team moved to their 190,000-square-foot office and manufacturing campus in Holly. The facility has gone through extensive renovations to support growth from the BRG product line.

“When we started this division in 2021, we designed the entire operation to accommodate our plans to diversify,” says Tracy Roberts, president and COO of GK. “From air handling units for GK’s new paint shop projects to humidification controls in battery manufacturing facilities to data centers and operating rooms, Kais-Air was created to meet a wide spectrum of needs. We customized the Kais-Air campus, and specifically the manufacturing space, to maximize their workload.”

Kais-Air takes advantage of GK’s existing expertise in modular fabrication and provides an opportunity to diversify the enterprise. Much of the data center work is considered “mission critical” to require consideration for confidentiality, schedule, and quality.

As a General Motors Co. (GM) strategic sourcing partner, GK is equipped to handle projects of this nature.

“For nearly a decade, we have been the sole supplier of GM paint shops in North America. That partnership is dependent on meeting the highest standards in safety, quality, and overall project delivery. The BladeRoom team recognized our unique experience and the many parallels between the project requirements,” says Roberts.

“I can say on behalf of BladeRoom Group, that we are delighted with the recent appointment of Gallagher-Kaiser as our exclusive licensed partner in North America,” says William Thornton, CEO of BladeRoom Group. “Since our very first interactions, it was clear that the company’s values and ambitions align.

“We have been building an impressive portfolio of projects and products over the last 25 years in mission critical data centers and health care. Gallagher-Kaiser is poised to take this to the next level across the region.”
