Troy-based Doeren Mayhew, a global certified public accounting and advisory firm, has formed a strategic partnership with Colliers International, which is based in Canada and has an office in Southfield, to deploy real estate advisory services. The partnership is called DM Colliers Real Estate Advisory.
The partnership will allow Doeren Mayhew to help its clients combat growing property tax liabilities, reduce operating expenses, and optimize their real estate investments. The company will expand its offerings to include property tax review and appeal assistance, leasing and renewal advisory, and sale transaction consulting.
Thomas Lasky, an executive vice president at Colliers International who has more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate agency, and his team will help to facilitate these efforts for Doeren Mayhew.
