Troy’s Centroid Partners with California’s RackWare to Offer Cloud Services

Troy’s Centroid, a cloud services company for medium- to large-scale businesses, has partnered with California’s RackWare, a provider of intelligent, automated cloud management platforms.

The companies work with firms to help them shift to cloud-based solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Centroid provides assessments of a firm’s technology challenges and areas to improve as well as integration to new systems without losing or altering data.

The two companies partnered to work with HID Global, a company in Texas that provides virtual and physical security solutions. They will help HID modernize its efforts. HID offers physical and virtual digital identity solutions that enable millions of businesses and people to protect, access, and track physical and digital assets.

HID has 3,000 employees serving customers in more than 100 countries and is updating its technology infrastructure from servers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which Centroid and RackWare offer.

RackWare will provide the cloud platform, and Centroid will contribute its migration expertise.

Centroid has more than 200 employees and has been in business for 20 years.

RackWare offers disaster recovery and backup, hybrid cloud management, and cloud migration and replication. It supports Fortune 500 customers and companies around the world and has support and development teams in Salt Lake City and India.
