Troy-based SunTel Services, a provider of communication networks to businesses, has partnered with Pulse Secure, which develops mobile security solutions, to advance research to improve safe, reliable data sharing across multiple devices.

“Pulse Secure is an established market leader in addressing secure mobility requirements,” says Ray Szpiech, SunTel Services’ vice president of enterprise networking and security. “We are excited to partner with Pulse Secure and drive products to the marketplace.”

Szpiech says as part of the partnership, SunTel and Pulse Secure will develop network mobility and security solutions that help businesses address security issues that come with employees using their own devices.

Pulse sells products that offer secure connectivity options for employees that work remotely. It also helps protect corporate information against leakage with security that controls data sharing between apps. SunTel, which has offices in Troy, Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, and Traverse City, will seek to provide future products and services from the partnership to their customer base.

Pulse Secure is a new company born out of the sale of Juniper Networks Juno Pulse product line to Siris Capital, a New York City-based private equity firm. SunTel Services will be Pulse’s partner in Michigan.
