Troy-based Qstride — a firm that helps companies mine data to improve decision making and measure and track company performance — will expand its operations to Ann Arbor and Vienna, Va., near Washington, D.C., in an effort to better connect with regional clients.

“We choose to open new offices in these locations because of the available technical talent,” says Shane Gianino, founder and CEO at Qstride. The company provides data warehousing and business intelligence solutions to help customers measure and track their respective company’s performance and increase key performance indicators.

In addition, Qstride helps corporations set up programs that make the most of their data. This includes providing reports and comparisons needed to run a business efficiently and creating a data-warehousing plan that allows clients to access data.

“We have subject matter expertise in taking our customers’ data and turning it into visual insights that improve company metrics with the ability to make predictions about the future, helping the business be more successful and profitable,” says Jordan Martz, principal data scientist at Qstrid.

The new offices, which will primarily house software engineers, are at 2723 South State St. in Ann Arbor and 8000 Towers Crescent Dr. in Vienna. The company’s headquarters are in Troy, with a sales and marketing office located in the Chrysler House in downtown Detroit.
