Torqued Distribution, creators of the Warehouse-as-a-Service (WaaS) technology and the No Cost 3PL (NC3PL) program based in San Francisco, has officially opened its new Michigan warehouse and national sales office at 1407 Allen Dr., suite G, in Troy.
Torqued began by importing hard to find racing and performance brands from England and Europe. The first brand imported was Tillett Racing Seats. Tillett racing seats are found in all professional motorsports from drag racing to F1 and they’ve even been featured in a “James Bond” movie.
“We’ve got the Detroit Grand Prix, M1 Concourse, Woodward Ave., the Big 3, and the new SEMA Garage just down the road,” says Lou Lobsinger, head of sales and marketing at Torqued and general manager of the new location. “There is no better place to be than here in Detroit, especially as we introduce new technology through our WaaS and NC3PL programs.”
The new 5,100-square-foot space currently employs five, with plans to add more. It offers numerous value-added digital services via WaaS to its partners such as eCommerce store apps for live inventory, pricing, and order fulfillment.
For manufacturers, the Torqued No Cost 3PL program offers a fulfillment solution for direct-to-consumer Shopify and other eCommerce stores; international manufacturers looking for U.S. distribution; eBay and Amazon marketplace sales; and any other omnichannel sales which require timely and cost-effective fulfillment.
Today, Torqued maintains the U.S. sole distributor status for Tillett Racing, Nuke Performance, obp Motorsport, and others, as well as distributing popular brands including Holley, Bell Helmets, CSF, Detroit Muscle, MOMO Italy, and XClutch.
