For the LIV Golf Team Championship, teams are seeded 1-13 based on the team standings following LIV Golf Indianapolis, the 13th and final event of the regular season. The Team Championship format features:

  • All 13 teams competing, with the top three teams receiving first-round byes and automatically qualifying for Saturday’s semifinals.
  • Ten teams seeded 4-13 competing in five quarterfinals matches on Friday, with matchups determined the week of the tournament at a live press conference featuring team captains. Each of those team matchups will consist of two singles and one foursomes match, with the team winning at least two of the three matches advancing to the next round.
  • The five winning teams of the opening quarterfinal round will advance to the semifinals, where they will face off on Saturday against the top three seeds.
  • The final round on Sunday will revert to stroke play, with all teams competing in tiers based on their results the first two days. The cumulative score of all four players will count towards the team’s score, with the four teams having advanced to the final battling it out for the title of team champion.
